Adjustable from 35ºC - 60ºC
20mm (3/4") model can operate up to a maximum dynamic unbalanced ratio of 10:1 (cold:hot)
Equal pressure version available with 25mm (1") connections to BS1415 Pt2:1986
Failsafe Performance: With a hot water inlet temperature range of 65ºC - 90ºC and a mixed temperature setting of 35ºC - 55ºC, the valve will failsafe in the event of cold water supply failure.
High flow rates on low pressure systems
Can be supplied pre-set and locked to specific temperatures or as an adjustable item
For systems not covered by AS1357.2, the valve may be used with hot inlet temperatures up to 100ºC.
Full temperature range adjustment with one rotation of knob
Knob has graduated markings to indicate adjusted position.

Cost Savings
Installation of the valve will effect a reduction in the consumption of stored hot water, as only the optimum amount of hot water is used to achieve the desired output temperature, resulting in energy and therefore cost savings to the consumer.
Safety Function
Within specified limits, the valve controls the maximum temperature of water from the water heater to a		  
terminal fitting, eg. tap or shower head. The hot water is reduced to a safe temperature of 55ºC, minimising the risk of scalding. A child or elderly person putting their hand under running water from a hot tap will remove it because of 'smarting' from this temperature. Severe scalding will only occur if the hand is left under the running water for a period of 30 seconds.
